I had an accident in the kitchen. I got a very deep cut on the thumb of my off hand. It wasn’t big, but it reached the hypodermis layer.
I went to the hospital since I was sure I would need stitches or glue.
The triage nurse was not amused when I referred to it as a “very bad papercut.”
The doctor decided to glue the wound. It was messy and glue ended up all over both of my hands.
There wasn’t very many staff, but there was a lot of supplies scattered everywhere. It felt almost post-apocalyptic.
